How we counted
We read each remote job from the company’s own job board, including its location and description, and work out who it’s open to. A job counts as open to a country if it names the country, a region that includes it, or says you can work from anywhere. A job that doesn’t say counts as open to nobody. “Of these, open anywhere” is the share of a country’s jobs that are open to everyone. These numbers are from today’s list, 20 October 2026, and change as jobs open and close.
Writers and journalists are welcome to use these numbers with a link to this page. For more detail, email lat@remotejobify.app. There is more on the UK, Canada, Australia, Ireland in their own reports.
