How Remotejobify checks who a remote job is open to
On 20 October 2026, Remotejobify listed 42,479 open remote jobs, read from the companies’ own job boards. Each one shows the line from its listing that says who can apply.
Where the jobs come from
We read jobs straight from companies’ own job boards, the pages their careers sites are built on (such as Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and Workable), at least once a day. We don’t copy other job boards. A job leaves the list when the company takes it down.
How we decide who a job is open to
- We read the job’s location and its description, not just the word “remote”.
- A job counts as open to a country if it names that country, names a region that includes it (such as “EMEA”, “Europe” or “Americas”), or says you can work from anywhere.
- Lines like “must be based in the US”, “authorised to work in the United States” or a list of US states limit it to those places.
- A job that doesn’t say where it hires counts as open to nobody, rather than to everyone.
- We keep the line that decided it. Every job page shows it as proof, so you can check it yourself.
What the numbers mean
The counts on our answer pages and in where remote jobs are really open come from the same list, on the date shown on each page. They change as jobs open and close, so quote them with their date. We sometimes get one wrong: “Report a mistake” on any job tells us, and we fix it.
Who runs it
Remotejobify is a small independent site. Browsing is free with no sign-up. Match me reads your CV and picks the jobs open to you that fit it best, and we don’t keep your CV. Radar, the paid part, emails new jobs within hours. Writers and journalists are welcome to use our numbers with a link. Questions: lat@remotejobify.app.
