We’re looking for an IT Disaster Recovery Innovation & Automation Lead to support our client’s IT Disaster Recovery program through automation, process improvement, and technology adoption.

You’ll collaborate with Disaster Recovery managers, operations teams, and developers to streamline recovery testing and plan management, build reporting dashboards, and implement improvements using Agile, DevOps, and AI tools.
What you’ll do
* Lead innovation and continuous improvement initiatives within the IT Disaster Recovery program.
* Identify opportunities to automate tasks, simplify workflows, reduce costs, and improve the resilience of critical applications.
* Develop business cases and implement automation and AI solutions to address operational challenges.
* Build dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Splunk, and ServiceNow BCM.
* Document and track enhancements in ServiceNow’s Business Continuity module and Monday.com.
* Provide technical and implementation support for IT Disaster Recovery self-service initiatives.
* Connect Disaster Recovery operations and development teams to support DevOps adoption and remove delivery roadblocks.
* Act as Scrum Master for the innovation team and facilitate Agile ceremonies.
* Collaborate with IT teams to define and consolidate data sources for internal and external audits and leadership reporting.
* Participate in forums focused on new technologies, best practices, and service improvements.
What you’ll bring
* 5–8 years of relevant experience in technology, automation, or service improvement.
* A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
* Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework.
* Knowledge of SRE and DevOps practices for automating and streamlining workflows.
* Hands-on experience with scripting, Power Automate, AI tools, or other automation technologies.
* Familiarity with Power BI, Splunk, ServiceNow, or similar platforms.
* Knowledge of IT Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity.
* Proven experience coordinating cross-functional development teams.
* Ability to translate business needs into actionable service improvement initiatives.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical teams and leadership.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
What will make you stand out
* Certified Scrum Master certification.
* Experience with ServiceNow BCM and Disaster Recovery workflows.
* Experience applying automation or AI to recovery testing, recovery plan management, or operational reporting.
