We are a fast-growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) delivering IT solutions and security services to a diverse portfolio of clients. We’re seeking a Senior Systems Administrator who can not only manage day-to-day operations but also take the lead on complex projects and guide clients through evolving security frameworks such as CMMC and NIST.

Responsibilities:
* Manage, maintain, and optimize client infrastructure including servers, networks, cloud platforms (Azure, Microsoft 365), and security solutions.
* Lead and execute IT projects end-to-end (migrations, deployments, upgrades, cloud transitions).
* Implement and enforce security frameworks such as CMMC, NIST, and other compliance standards across client environments.
* Troubleshoot escalated technical issues (L3) and mentor junior engineers.
* Develop and maintain documentation for client systems, policies, and procedures.
* Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to deliver solutions on time and within scope.
* Monitor system performance and proactively address vulnerabilities, outages, or compliance gaps.
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator in an MSP environment (preferred).
* Strong technical expertise in:
* Windows Server / Active Directory / Group Policy
* Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
* Cloud services (Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune)
* Firewalls, networking, and endpoint security solutions
* Hands-on experience with compliance/security frameworks (CMMC, NIST, HIPAA, or SOC 2).
* Proven track record of successfully delivering IT projects.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Relevant certifications preferred (CompTIA Security+, Microsoft, CISSP, CISM, or CMMC-related credentials).
