What You'll Do
* System Administration: Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot servers, networks, and cloud-based infrastructure.
* User Support & Helpdesk Management: Provide technical support to remote employees, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
* Security & Compliance: Implement cybersecurity best practices, manage access controls, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
* Cloud & SaaS Management: Oversee cloud services, including AWS, Azure, and Google Workspace, optimizing performance and security.
* Backup & Disaster Recovery: Ensure robust data backup strategies and disaster recovery plans are in place.
* Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain scripts for IT automation and efficiency.
* Software & Hardware Management: Deploy, configure, and manage software applications and company devices.
* IT Policy Development: Establish and enforce IT policies and best practices across the organization.
What You Need to Succeed
* Experience: 5+ years of IT administration experience in a remote or hybrid setting.
* Technical Expertise:
* Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
* Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
* Hands-on experience with network administration (VPNs, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
* Proficiency in cybersecurity tools and best practices.
* Ability to write scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
* Soft Skills:
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
* Education & Certifications (Preferred but not Required):
* Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
* Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator.
