ABOUT DEPLOY

Deploy is Akur8's rating engine and the final step in our end-to-end vision, where every step of pricing, from data analysis to modeling to ratemaking, sits in one modern software platform.

Deploy bridges two functions with different skills and perspectives: the actuarial side, which extracts insights from data and makes statistical business decisions, and the IT side, which maintains and productionalizes reliable systems. Handoffs between the two are slow today. Deploy removes them and increases speed to market.

Solving this takes a deep understanding of what IT teams and actuaries each need, and of the complex ecosystem behind an insurance product and its pricing.

We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect to help insurance clients in North America and Latin America implement Deploy successfully. You will guide clients from technical discovery through onboarding, integration, and go-live.

LEADING DEPLOY IMPLEMENTATIONS

* Own the technical outcome of complex Deploy engagements, or defined workstreams inside a larger program, from discovery through production, with the customer's team doing the build.

* Act as the primary technical contact for insurers integrating Deploy with their policy administration system (PAS).

* Coordinate across client IT teams, system integrators, and Akur8 product teams, and drive integration milestones with clear plans and transparent communication.

* Isolate broken customer setups by inspecting payloads and log files, and escalate to Product or Engineering only with a developed working theory.

SUPPORTING PRE-SALES ENGAGEMENTS

* Partner with Sales and Actuarial Data Scientists to qualify opportunities.

* Lead technical discovery sessions on IT landscapes, data flows, and integration readiness.

* Present integration architectures and deliver tailored product demonstrations.

* Contribute technical input to statements of work and technical annexes.

BEING THE CLIENT'S TRUSTED PARTNER

* Serve as the go-to technical contact throughout onboarding and delivery.

* Run workshops, design reviews, and technical escalations in both English and Spanish, and produce customer-facing documentation in either language.

* Review customer designs and help the customer team change them when they are wrong.

* Identify project risks and blockers, plan mitigation with the customer, and bring in the right internal and external resources.

* Enable customer technical teams to operate Deploy autonomously, with knowledge transfer and documentation in the customer's working language.

IMPROVING HOW WE DELIVER

* Turn problems found in your engagements into clear input for Product and Engineering, and close the loop once resolved.

* Build reusable assets such as integration patterns, configuration guides, and troubleshooting playbooks.

* Work with external vendors and system integrators on shared engagements.

* Experience in project delivery, implementation management, or customer-facing technical roles, with enough depth to work unaided on a complex Deploy engagement.

* Insurance industry experience, with strong knowledge of policy administration systems, rating, and insurance product workflows. Guidewire experience is a plus.

* Hands-on experience managing IT integrations in enterprise environments, including integrations between policy administration systems and rating or pricing engines.

* Technical fluency (APIs, JSON, system design) and the ability to explain and defend how a rating engine behaves under a customer's actual configuration.

* Familiarity with SaaS delivery models and onboarding processes.

* Strong communication with technical and business stakeholders, including customer engineering and actuarial teams.

* Ability to work through complexity and ambiguity, and to manage several projects at once.

* Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.

As a newcomer, you'll be joining a diverse, highly skilled and motivated team, with a strong Tech DNA, colleagues that are eager to share their knowledge and passion.

We care about strong teamwork and a positive day-to-day environment. The team regularly connects through optional activities such as team lunches, sports, karaoke, or occasional after-work gatherings.

In addition to this, we will provide you with:

* The pay range for this role is $275,000 to $325,000 USD

* Health insurance , Dental and Vision coverage (including spouse and family coverage)

* 401K Company match

* Life insurance

* Cell Phone & Internet reimbursement

* 25 days of PTO/year

* Commuter benefit

* Gym membership via ClassPass

* IT equipment allowance

* Professional development & trainings

* Team fun: regular company gatherings and team events
