Job Description
What You'll Do
* Lead the design and development of scalable, cloud-native applications using TypeScript.
* Drive architecture decisions across multiple engineering teams and services.
* Build highly available, performant APIs and backend systems.
* Partner closely with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership to define technical strategy.
* Champion engineering best practices including testing, observability, security, and code quality.

* Mentor senior engineers and serve as a technical leader across the organization.
* Identify technical debt and develop long-term solutions that improve scalability and developer productivity.
* Lead technical planning for large cross-functional initiatives.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For
* 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
* Extensive experience building production applications with TypeScript.
* Deep expertise in modern backend architecture, distributed systems, and API design.
* Experience designing and operating cloud-based applications (AWS preferred).
* Strong understanding of scalability, reliability, performance optimization, and system design.
* Demonstrated experience leading large technical initiatives without direct management responsibility.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical direction across teams.
Nice to Have
* Experience with Node.js and modern JavaScript frameworks.
* Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or containerized deployments.
* Knowledge of event-driven architectures and message queues.
* Experience working in high-growth SaaS organizations.
* Familiarity with logistics, supply chain, or enterprise B2B software is a plus.
