About the Role

Job description:
Daily tasks: Design, execute, and maintain functional, integration, regression, and exploratory tests; develop and maintain automated test suites for mobile, web, and APIs; analyse defects, logs, and test results and collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve quality issues; participate in refinement and technical discussions to define test strategy, acceptance criteria, and quality risks; continuously improve test coverage and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Minimum technical skills: Strong knowledge of test design, test automation, API testing, and debugging; hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Appium, Playwright, Selenium, XCUITest, or Espresso; experience with REST API testing using tools such as Postman; good understanding of Git and CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins; ability to analyse application/network logs and troubleshoot failures; working knowledge of performance, accessibility, and cross-device/browser testing. Experience with tools such as BrowserStack is beneficial.
Leadership / experience level: Typically 5+ years of software testing or quality engineering experience, with demonstrated ownership of quality for complex applications. Expected to independently define test approaches, identify quality risks early, mentor other engineers ontesting practices, influence engineering teams toward automation and shift-left quality, and contribute to release-readiness decisions. Shouldbe comfortable working across engineering, product, design, and other dependent teams.
