Job description

From Overview Corporation’s job post, as they wrote it.

Work Location: Nantong/Haiyan/Shenzhen

Role Overview

At its core, this role is about deploying our vision inspection systems onto customer production lines, commissioning them, and keeping them running reliably, while guiding customers on how to use them correctly. The work is primarily on the factory floor. Under the guidance of senior engineers, you will take part in on-site installation and debugging, handle image capture, lighting and lens adjustment, AI model data collection and optimization, and solution validation, and support customer training and project delivery. As you gain experience, you will gradually take independent ownership of on-site projects.

Read the full description

We are looking for someone with a solid engineering foundation and some working knowledge of vision inspection and automation, a strong ability to learn, and the initiative to analyze and resolve issues on site. Candidates who already have some advanced knowledge and want to keep growing in a real production-line environment are especially welcome.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle on-site installation, debugging, and maintenance of vision systems at customer factories.

* Adjust cameras, lenses, and lighting, capture images, and tune inspection performance to a production-ready level.

* Support AI model data collection and optimization, and complete system deployment following standard processes.

* Troubleshoot and resolve on-site vision, networking, and automation issues, working independently and escalating promptly when needed.

* Train the customer's operations and quality staff on daily use and basic troubleshooting.

* Keep thorough on-site records and organize each project's configuration and know-how into reusable references.

Requirements

* Associate degree (大专) or above in Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, Robotics & Automation, or a related field.

* Some understanding of machine vision or automation (basic to intermediate); relevant internship or project experience is a plus.

* Strong hands-on ability, willing to be based at factory sites and travel as needed, and comfortable working in an on-site environment.

* Strong ability to learn, proactive in working through problems, and open to asking questions and learning.

* Strong sense of responsibility, well-organized, and able to communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.

* Mandarin is the working language; willingness to gradually learn and improve English (English is used frequently in team collaboration and technical materials).

Nice to Have

* Experience with industrial cameras, lighting, or lens setup, or exposure to PLCs, sensors, and industrial networking.

* Production-line experience in industries such as electronics, automotive, connectors, batteries, or packaging.

* Able to read English technical documentation and hold a basic conversation.

What We Offer

* Structured onboarding training, followed by one-on-one mentorship from a senior engineer to help you get up to speed quickly.

* Hands-on experience on real production lines, taking part in complete projects and building solid field expertise.

* A clear growth path: from contributing to projects, to independently owning on-site deployments, to handling more complex solutions.
