Job description
From SKELAR’s job post, as they wrote it.
Hi! We're Leaply, a Health & Wellness app that makes healthy living possible on autopilot. Unlike other wellness apps, we're practice-driven: instead of another library of theory, we get people to do at least one simple practice every day (breathing, massage, a short exercise, a brain game with their kid) that actually makes them feel better. We launched in June 2024, reached positive unit economics in under two weeks, and now operate worldwide, with a 4.7 rating on the App Store and 4.4 on Trustpilot (20,000+ reviews).

At Leaply, we challenge traditional career paths: we value ownership over job titles, and impact over process. Now we're looking for a Growth Manager to own CRM at Leaply.
Role Overview:
Our performance marketing brings a large stream of new people to Leaply. CRM is how we turn more of them into subscribers who stay with us.
You'll own CRM and the profit it brings, and work with our CMO on marketing strategy.
What You Will Do:
* Make CRM a predictable source of profit, with a strategy and roadmap you set yourself
* Turn more leads into subscribers who stay, with communication personalized to each person's goals and behavior
* Shape which markets, audiences and offers we grow
* Own lifecycle messaging across email, push and in-app, and build the platform it runs on
* Scale sending across markets while keeping inbox placement and compliance intact
* Prove how much CRM adds to subscriptions and profit, with holdout tests
What You'll Need to Succeed:
* 3+ years in email, CRM or growth marketing at a B2C company, ideally a subscription app
* A result you can point to: a metric you moved yourself, and how you measured it
* Analytical thinking: you can find where a funnel loses money and decide what to test first
* Experience with A/B testing: design, control groups, sample size, significance
* Comfort with data: Amplitude or similar, and SQL
* You use AI tools daily in your work
* B2+ English
It's great if you have:
* Hands-on experience with Braze, Customer.io, Iterable or a similar tool
* Deliverability experience (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, domain warm-up)
* Experience with web2app funnels (quiz → paywall → app)
* Experience running campaigns in several languages and markets
* Launched a push, in-app or SMS channel from scratch
Why This Role
* As the first person in this area, you will have a chance to grow it into a team and expand into SMS, remarketing and retention.
* You'll work next to a performance marketing team that brings in enough traffic to test an idea and read the result in days.
* We use AI wherever we can. In CRM it covers writing, personalization and analysis that used to need a whole team, and you'll lead how we use it.
* You report to the CPO, so what you learn about why people stay or leave goes straight into the product.
What You'll Get
* Competitive compensation
* Direct work with the CPO and the CMO, both Leaply co-founders
* Mentorship from an experienced team with multiple successful exits
* Direct access to our product, marketing and payment data
* Access to internal SKELAR communities across Marketing, Product, Analytics and Engineering
* A meaningful mission: help people live healthier lives every day
