Job Overview

As a Project Manager with Medius Professional Services, you’ll lead end-to-end implementations of our cloud-based spend management solutions for customers across national and global markets. You’ll be the primary point of contact for clients, driving project success through clear communication, strong collaboration, and effective delivery within scope, time, and budget.

You will take full ownership of multiple concurrent customer implementation projects, independently driving activities, making day-to-day decisions and resolving challenges with minimal management oversight. You will proactively manage delivery risks, customer expectations and project outcomes, taking accountability for successful delivery.

Your work will combine classic project management with hands-on involvement in our applications, ensuring you deeply understand the solutions you’re helping to deliver.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Lead implementation projects from planning to delivery, managing scope, resources, timelines, and budgets.

* Act as the main customer contact, ensuring smooth communication and alignment across teams.

* Motivate and guide project teams to achieve successful outcomes.

* Facilitate workshops and guide customers toward best-practice solutions.

* Produce and maintain project documentation, including specifications and change requests.

* Report progress to stakeholders and ensure adherence to project methodology and tools.

* Proactively manage project risks, issues and scope changes, ensuring appropriate mitigation and commercial control throughout delivery.

* Monitor project budgets, resource utilisation and delivery forecasts, identifying potential overruns and taking appropriate action.

Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience managing customer-facing software or SaaS implementation projects, with demonstrable ownership of project delivery.

* Strong initiative, accountability and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to make decisions, take responsibility for outcomes and resolve issues independently.

* Strong communication and relationship-building skills

* Business-minded, results-driven, and highly organized.

* Ability to manage several parallel tasks with good quality, control and attention to detail.

* General understanding of IT systems and willingness to travel occasionally to client and/or company sites.

Preferred

* Experience implementing software or cloud-based SaaS solutions.

* Familiarity with spend management or S2P/P2P processes.

* Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or Infor M3.

* Experience working within a Professional Services environment, managing customer implementations, project budgets and commercial scope.
