Academic Responsibilities and Essential Functions

* Teach live online classes between 6 and 10 PM EST

* Deliver structured, high-engagement instruction in an 11-week quarter

* Lead case-based discussions and applied exercises

* Grade and provide substantive, timely feedback

* Support capstone and applied project supervision

* Integrate digital tools and AI appropriately into coursework

* Maintain strong academic standards and uphold integrity

* Collaborate with program leadership as the program evolves

Qualifications

Required:

* Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Services Administration, Public Health, Health Informatics, Business with healthcare focus, or related field

* Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in higher education (online or in-person)

* Minimum 3 years of professional healthcare industry experience

* Experience working in hospitals, health systems, ambulatory care, payer organizations, or medical practice operations

* Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom facilitation skills.

* Comfort with digital tools and platforms, including LMS and video conferencing.

* Digital fluency and ability to effectively incorporate AI-powered educational tools into instruction.

* Proactive, reliable, and committed to high-quality online education.

* Passion for equity, access, and supporting students from diverse backgrounds.

* Available to commit 8-10 hours per week per course, with some flexibility for training.

Preferred:

* Experience teaching online live

* Experience with EHR systems

* Experience with revenue cycle management or billing

* Professional certifications such as RHIA, RHIT, CMRS, CHC, CHFP

* Experience serving first-generation or nontraditional students

Compensation

* $8,000 per 4-credit course/11 week quarter

* $5,000 per 1-2 credit course/11 week quarter
