Senior Copywriter - Remote

Responsibilities

Your role is to develop new concepts and craft world-beating copy that convert traffic into eager and knowledgeable users of our products. You will:

* Develop a consistent tone of voice for Reedsy across multiple channels;

* Own and evolve our brand guidelines;

* Help onboard writers to ensure consistency across every channel;

* Write copy for our landing pages, lead magnets, email campaigns, newsletters and social media posts;

* Come up with new creative ideas to convert our traffic;

* Review copy performance (open rates, click-through, conversions) and use those learnings to sharpen future work;

* Work closely with a team of content creators (writers, illustrators, animators, and YouTubers) on ad and modal copy, graphic assets, storyboards and video scripts; and

* Bring a high standard to your own copy and honest, useful feedback to everyone else's.

Requirements

* Both a very analytical and highly creative individual;

* Experience creating conversion copy for large-scale campaigns at a fast-growth startup;

* A varied portfolio of copy, from short form to long form;

* Ability to write with range, from playful campaign headlines to technical writing concepts;

* Proven experience shaping brand guidelines and tone of voice;

* Familiarity with the publishing industry and writing craft concepts;

* Experience with email marketing, conversion optimization and A/B testing;

* Familiarity with Google Analytics and other analytics tools; and

* Native-level English speaker.
