Job description
From Melita Group’s job post, as they wrote it.
Core Responsibilities
Platform Administration and Security
Own day-to-day administration: users, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and login and access troubleshooting. Maintain data quality and integrity, including deduplication, validation rules, and routine data audits and cleanup. Manage sandboxes, change sets or deployment pipelines, and releases, and keep org documentation current. Monitor and apply Salesforce seasonal releases, assessing impact on our customizations before they reach production.

Configuration and Automation
Build and maintain declarative automation: Flows, validation rules, page layouts, Lightning pages, record types, reports, and dashboards. Translate requests from across the business into well-designed solutions, choosing the right tool for the job and keeping the org simple where possible. Partner with our developer on Apex-heavy and integration work, reading and debugging existing Apex, Flows, and invocable actions in a highly customized org, and testing changes thoroughly.
AI and Automation Enablement
Support and extend our current Claude AI integration which works with live Salesforce data, and help maintain the connected-system setup our automations depend on. Help lead Melita's adoption strategy for the SalesForce native AI tools like Agentforce and Einstein.
Support, Training, and Partnership
Act as the first point of contact for Salesforce questions and issues, resolving them quickly and clearly. Build strong relationships across the Melita teams, understand how they actually work, and turn that into platform improvements they feel. Create training materials and enablement so Melitians get the most out of Salesforce, including MyWorkspace and the case engine.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
3 or more years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience, with a Salesforce Administrator certification. Deep command of declarative tools: Flows, permission sets, validation rules, record types, reports, and dashboards. Experience administering a complex, heavily customized org, and comfort reading and debugging existing Apex and automations. Strong data management skills, with a high attention to detail and a bias toward data integrity. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate business needs into platform solutions. A self-starter who takes ownership, thrives on complexity, and follows through.
Preferred Qualifications
Additional Salesforce credentials (Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Agentforce or AI-related certifications). Hands-on experience with Claude AI or other LLMs as well as experience with Agentforce, Einstein, or other AI features on the Salesforce platform. Experience with integrations and middleware (for example CData, APIs, or ETL tools) and with deployment and version-control practices. Experience in an HR, benefits, payroll, or professional-services environment.
What Success Looks Like
The org is secure, clean, well-documented, and reliable, and issues are resolved before they slow the business down. Requests become thoughtful, maintainable solutions rather than one-off patches, and the teams trust the platform. AI and automation measurably reduce manual effort, and Melita keeps raising what Salesforce does for the business.
