We're looking for a new Senior Estimator to join our Estimating team here at AVK. The role will play a key role in the estimating function across complex and high-value projects. It provides strategic cost advice, manages estimating deliverables, and ensures commercial integrity throughout the pre-construction phase.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities
* Own all estimating documentation and ensure quality control
* Lead tender meetings and sign-off processes
* Deliver accurate cost estimates and competitive tender submissions
* Develop pricing strategies and oversee bid preparation
* Review project documents to ensure compliance and identify risks
* Maintain reliable cashflow forecasts
* Coordinate inputs from supply chain and internal teams
* Advise clients on procurement, risk, and estimating strategy
* Act as a client-facing lead throughout the estimating process
* Drive improvements in estimating tools and processes
* Mentor junior team members
* Ensure outputs meet client expectations and deadlines
* Champion use of cost databases and benchmarking
* Build supply chain relationships and gather market intelligence
Skills and Experience
* Extensive experience in estimating across sectors and project types
* Strong commercial and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
* Proficient in Microsoft 365 software
* Excellent communication and leadership abilities
* Proven track record of delivering multiple high-quality estimates under pressure
