Junior Network Engineer

In the Networking position, you’ll manage networking activities (Internet, LAN, dynamic routing, VPNs, Firewalls, Wi-Fi etc.) for Monks sites in LATAM

Key Responsibilities

* You’ll be in charge of the administration of network assets
* You’ll handle the preparation and deployment of network changes
* You’ll automate the operational and maintenance work as much as possible
* You’ll monitor, analyze, and report metrics of network services

Background & Skills

* Relevant certifications on network and firewall technology and solutions with a high preference for Fortinet NSE 4, 5, 7 etc.
* Deep knowledge on DNS, DHCP, Routing and Routed Protocols (OSPF, BGP)
* Epic network troubleshooting skills
* Excellent documentation skills
* Experience with network monitoring tools (Zabbix preferred)
* Security knowledge
* Ability to learn quickly and share knowledge
* You’re Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
* Intermediate Linux experience. Know why things work on a Linux system -- not just how to configure them.
