IT4IT Platform Engineer

The Role

Als IT4IT Platform Engineer beheer en ontwikkel je de tooling waarmee collega's software bouwen, uitrollen en beheren: GitLab, Nexus, Harbor, Tanium en Ansible Automation Platform. Je zorgt dat de tooling voor softwareontwikkeling, automatisering, configuratiebeheer en endpoint management beschikbaar, snel, veilig en actueel is, en je bouwt nieuwe functionaliteit waarmee teams efficiënter werken.

Je komt in dienst bij Kyndryl en werkt voor een opdrachtgever in de defensie- en veiligheidssector die zijn IT-infrastructuur volledig vernieuwt. Later kun je ook voor andere klanten van Kyndryl aan de slag.

Je combineert operationeel beheer met technische doorontwikkeling. Je werkt nauw samen met engineers, architecten, securityspecialisten en DevOps-teams om de toolchain continu te verbeteren en verder te professionaliseren.

Succes in deze rol betekent dat de platformdiensten 24x7 beschikbaar zijn, dat beheer en deployments geautomatiseerd verlopen en dat de tooling veilig meegroeit met de teams die erop bouwen.

Wat ga je doen

Beheer de platformen

* Beheer en onderhoud de IT4IT-tooling en ontwikkel die verder
* Borg de 24x7-beschikbaarheid van de platformdiensten en voer upgrades, patches en lifecycle management uit

Ontwikkel en automatiseer

* Ontwerp en implementeer nieuwe functionaliteit
* Automatiseer beheer- en deploymentprocessen en integreer tooling in CI/CD- en DevSecOps-processen

Borg security en kwaliteit

* Richt monitoring, logging en security controls in
* Ondersteun bij incident-, problem- en changemanagement

Documenteer en adviseer

* Stel technische documentatie op en houd die actueel
* Adviseer over verbeteringen en innovaties

Je werkt hybride en bent gemiddeld twee dagen per week op locatie: op locaties van de opdrachtgever in Noord-Holland, Zuid-Holland en Midden-Nederland, en op het Kyndryl-kantoor in Hoofddorp. Het salaris is € 62.000 tot € 78.000 bruto per jaar, inclusief vakantiegeld en dertiende maand, afhankelijk van je ervaring.

Daarnaast krijg je onder meer een telefoon en laptop van de zaak, een maandelijkse internetvergoeding en tot vijf weken extra partnerverlof met behoud van salaris. Met de Kyndryl Social Club zijn er regelmatig borrels, Lunch and Learns en sportactiviteiten.

Waar je ook naartoe wilt groeien, bij Kyndryl krijg je de ruimte. Je kunt je verder specialiseren in platformengineering en automatisering, de breedte in gaan of doorgroeien naar architect of Distinguished Engineer. Onderweg haal je certificeringen en werk je samen met ervaren specialisten.

Who You Are

Je bent proactief, neemt eigenaarschap en lost problemen structureel op. Je bent een teamspeler die helder communiceert, op kwaliteit en standaardisatie let en continu wil verbeteren.

Vereiste vaardigheden en ervaring

* Hbo-werk- en -denkniveau.
* Minimaal 3 jaar ervaring als Platform / DevOps / Automation Engineer, of in een vergelijkbare functie.
* Ervaring met GitLab, Nexus, Harbor, Tanium of Ansible Automation Platform.
* Ervaring met Linux (RHEL) en met Ansible, Python en/of PowerShell.
* Kennis van CI/CD-processen en ervaring met Kubernetes of OpenShift.
* Kennis van Security by Design en ervaring met bedrijfskritische platformdiensten.
* Vloeiend Nederlands, de Nederlandse nationaliteit en een Nederlands paspoort, en bereidheid tot een screening door de MIVD (VGB). Kyndryl begeleidt je daarbij.

Gewenste vaardigheden en ervaring

* Ervaring met artifact repositories en container registries.
* Ervaring met DevSecOps en geautomatiseerde securitycontroles.
* Ervaring met het standaardiseren en automatiseren van platformprocessen in grote omgevingen.
