Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure, Terraform)
About the Offer
We are currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the team of one of the world's leading global investment banks. The project is delivered together with a large international IT services company. For this role, Optiveum is the recruitment and contracting party, which means you will sign the cooperation agreement directly with us.
You will automate infrastructure with Terraform, support the migration to cloud, build CI/CD pipelines and coordinate complex releases across Azure and on-premises environments.

Key Details:
* Rate: 125–150 PLN/h (B2B), depending on experience
* Work Model: Hybrid, 3 days per week from the client's office (non-negotiable), full-time
* Location: Wrocław (candidates must live in or within commuting distance of Wrocław)
Responsibilities:
* Automate infrastructure using Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
* Support the migration to cloud environments
* Design and develop CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
* Coordinate complex releases across multiple teams
* Improve system observability, reliability and production operations
* Support secure operations across Azure and on-premises environments
Requirements:
* Around 10 years of relevant experience
* Advanced Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
* Strong Microsoft Azure experience
* Docker, Kubernetes/AKS and Helm
* Linux, scripting, networking and troubleshooting
* Hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure
* CI/CD pipeline design and deployment automation
* Monitoring, incident response, secrets management and secure engineering
* Experience coordinating complex releases across multiple teams
* Strong ownership and communication skills, fluent English
* Polish or EU citizenship, or a permanent residence / work permit valid for at least 12 months
Nice to Have:
* GitLab CI/CD, Ansible, Splunk, Azure Monitor, Grafana and Java
Recruitment Process:
* One interview with the IT services partner, followed by 1–3 interviews with the bank
* Technical tasks are done live: please have your environment set up and tested beforehand. The use of AI tools, coding assistants or code generators during interviews is not allowed
* The selected candidate will go through a background check by an external company (HireRight), covering identity, right to work, education and employment history, so the dates and employers in your CV must be accurate
* Your name in the application and CV must match your official ID document exactly (Polish citizens: please include all first names)
