Opportunity type: this is a contingent proposal opportunity in WIL's expert collaborator network, not a funded vacancy. It supports a competitive grant application WIL is preparing; no award has been made, and there is no guaranteed work or funding. If an award proceeds and the staffing model calls for it, WIL may offer a project-based contract or consulting engagement. We will ask before naming you or including your resume in any proposal.
What you'll do
* Direct planning and delivery of rural substance use prevention, treatment, and recovery programs
* Lead a consortium of health providers, public health, law enforcement, and community partners
* Expand access to medications for opioid use disorder, harm reduction, and recovery supports
* Plan recruitment and training for the local substance use workforce
* Track overdose, access, and service outcomes
* Contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to WIL proposals when you authorize naming

Requirements
Required
* Experience directing substance use treatment, prevention, or recovery programs
* Experience in rural or underserved communities
* Consortium or multi-partner leadership experience
* Program management, budgeting, and reporting experience
* Comfortable as a project-based contract collaborator; remote US
Nice to have
* LCSW, LADC, or equivalent licensure
* Experience with medications for opioid use disorder and harm reduction
* Prior federal rural health or substance use grant experience
