About the role:

BVNK is seeking a driven, and proactive candidate to join as a Corporate Finance Associate. This individual will be part of our Corporate and Commercial Finance team to help shape BVNK’s corporate development. You will play a part in executing strategic initiatives to drive growth and expansion for a company.

We are looking for a leader who is eager to innovate and own high-level strategy, and is hungry to build a career by taking ownership of their role to achieve or exceed targets and make an impact.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

* Investment Reporting
* Maintaining and enhancing the Long term forecast / Investment model up to date on a monthly basis to incorporate latest growth metrics, products and strategy
* Ensuring we maintain and enhance all financial investment based reporting to best practice standards
* Preparing investor materials, presentations and updates, aligned to corporate strategy
* Working closely with investment advisors to prepare investment materials, data rooms and facilitate Due Diligence processes

* Investment Strategy
* Owning a corporate development/M&A strategy and framework
* Aligning M&A strategy with organic growth capabilities, working closely cross function
* Developing opportunities to fast track company wide growth targets through strategic M&AIn depth global market research, competitor research and trend analysis
* Identifying and building a global pipeline of regionally focused fintech companies for breakout analysis, acquisition evaluation and or potential product/banking partnership
* Develop regular strategic insights via research and M&A efforts to provide structured feedback to business stakeholders across exec, banking, product, commercial
* Build investment cases for potential acquisition targets, including conducting due diligence and deal negotiation

What we need from you:

* 5 years experience in Payments / Fintech space
* Knowledge and experience in Investment Banking / Corporate Finance / Management Consulting of advantage
* Understands the operating environment and requirements of a fast growing crypto fintech scale up
* Appreciates and navigates around challenges crypto and fintech firms are facing
* Strong intensity / urgency / initiative
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Humble, ambitious, naturally curious and takes a proactive approach to work
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Excited about working at the intersection of traditional and crypto financial systems

Compensation packages are based on candidate experience and relevant certifications.
