Senior DevOps Engineer

Role – how you’ll contribute

* Build and improve reusable GitHub Actions workflows, actions and repository templates that make everyday development tasks easier.
* Build and introduce AI-assisted and agentic engineering workflows on GitHub, helping teams adopt these capabilities within agreed standards.
* Work with Platforms to help build and maintain GitHub Actions runners, reusable actions and workflows.
* Work with the Principal DevOps Engineer and engineering teams to improve how GitHub is used, identify automation opportunities and simplify development.
* Keep workflows and integrations secure, reliable and maintainable, supporting updates and helping teams diagnose and resolve issues.
* Share knowledge, documentation and practical examples so teams can adopt, maintain and extend GitHub workflows and agentic engineering capabilities.

Qualifications
Expectations – the experience you need

* Minimum 5 years of professional experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, CI/CD or a closely related engineering role.
* Strong hands-on experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions, including designing and implementing complex workflows, reusable actions and automation solutions.
* Solid understanding of CI/CD principles, pipeline architecture and software delivery lifecycle.
* Practical experience with Kubernetes and container-based environments.
* Experience with Azure DevOps and pipeline automation.
* Good understanding of Application Security, DevSecOps principles and secure software delivery practices.
* Experience working with cloud platforms and cloud-native services and capabilities.
* Strong scripting or software development skills (e.g. Bash, Python, PowerShell or similar).
* Experience designing and implementing developer tooling, automation and integrations.
* Practical knowledge or experience with AI-assisted development tools, AI-powered automation or agentic engineering workflows.
* Experience working with enterprise-scale or in-house engineering systems and collaborating with multiple development teams.
* Ability to work independently, take technical ownership, make informed engineering decisions and drive initiatives from design through implementation.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence technical decisions.
