Job description
From Remarcable, Inc.’s job post, as they wrote it.
At Remarcable, we’re building the operating system for contractors and distributors—solving critical procurement, supply chain, and financial workflow pain points that have plagued the construction industry for decades. With proven product-market fit, backing from Insight Partners, and a rapidly scaling business, we’re looking for an Associate Product Manager (APM) who is excited to dive deep into our core Procure-to-Pay and accounting workflows.
Read the full description
This is not a "just keep the roadmap moving" type of role. You’ll be a builder, systems thinker, and problem-solver who bridges the gap between field procurement and back-office financial systems. Working closely with our engineering, product, integration, and customer-facing teams, you’ll help design and optimize the workflows that automate purchase orders, invoice matching, job costing, and ERP synchronization.
If you thrive at the intersection of technical systems, financial/accounting logic, and customer workflows—and you want your work to make a visible difference in an underserved, multi-billion-dollar market—this role is for you.
What You'll Do
* Own the coordination and execution of product lifecycles across our procurement, accounts payable, and accounting integration workflows.
* Dive deep into core financial logic—such as 3-way matching (PO, receiving slip, and invoice), job cost tracking, and general ledger/cost code mapping.
* Collaborate closely with engineering pods and integration specialists to translate complex ERP data structures and accounting rules into intuitive software features.
* Lead agile ceremonies with engineering pods, including sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and retrospectives to ensure steady, reliable delivery.
* Translate customer feedback and back-office requirements into clear, executable Jira backlogs and detailed functional specifications.
* Bring strong technical and analytical fluency to engineering discussions, evaluating data schemas, API integrations, and trade-offs.
* Define and track KPIs that measure feature adoption, processing accuracy, and time saved for accounting and operations teams.
* Apply AI tools and workflows to accelerate discovery, requirements validation, and user documentation.
Who You Are
* 2-4 years of experience as an Associate Product Manager, Product Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or in a technical solutions/implementation role within a B2B SaaS environment.
* Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Technology Management, or a related quantitative field with strong technical foundations.
* Strong familiarity with foundational accounting workflows, such as Accounts Payable (AP), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), purchase orders, invoice processing, or job costing.
* Systems and data-minded: comfortable thinking through data mapping between systems, relational database logic, and API data exchanges.
* A clear communicator—able to translate complex accounting concepts and technical logic into straightforward, actionable insights for developers and users alike.
* Comfortable with agile product development processes and eager to coordinate cross-functional team initiatives.
* Someone who thrives in a startup—adaptable, resourceful, detail-oriented, and motivated by impact.
Nice-to-Haves
* Hands-on experience with construction accounting platforms or mid-market/enterprise ERPs (e.g., Sage 100/300, QuickBooks Enterprise, NetSuite, Viewpoint/Vista, or Acumatica).
* Proficiency with SQL for data analysis, investigating logs, or verifying sync logic.
* Familiarity with OCR invoice capture, automated workflow rules, or AI adoption in financial processes.
Why Join Remarcable?
We’re a Series A SaaS company backed by Insight Partners, scaling fast with a mission to transform construction operations. Our platform has already processed billions in material purchases, and we’re just getting started.
At Remarcable, you’ll:
* Own meaningful work—your features will directly impact contractors across North America.
* Be part of a small, high-ownership team where your ideas move fast.
* Work in a mission-driven company tackling inefficiency in one of the world’s largest industries.
Our Mission
To advance technology adoption in the construction industry by delivering efficiency, visibility, and communication at scale.
