About the Role
We're looking for a Growth and Demand Marketing Manager to build and run our demand generation engine from the ground up. This is a hands-on, generalist role on a small team — you'll set lifecycle marketing strategy, execute campaigns, create content, and personally generate qualified opportunities for sales. You'll work closely with our Brand Marketing Manager, Event Marketing Manager, and Director of Product Marketing, but you should be comfortable owning your own work end-to-end rather than directing others to do it. As we scale, this role has a clear path to leading a broader growth and demand generation function.
You Will...
Develop and execute lifecycle marketing programs — including nurture tracks and email campaigns — that guide senior technology decision makers in logistics through awareness, consideration, and conversion.
Drive marketing qualified leads (MQLs) that convert into sales opportunities and ultimately customer acquisition.
Spend roughly 20% of your time proactively prospecting and qualifying senior logistics-technology decision makers yourself — giving you direct control over your own funnel's quality, not just its volume — and handing sales-ready opportunities to the sales team.
Track customer acquisition cost by channel and campaign; use that data to continuously refine messaging, targeting, and channel mix.
Own lower-funnel digital campaigns — paid search/social, retargeting — and account-based marketing programs targeting senior logistics decision makers at named accounts. Brand and upper-funnel awareness campaigns are owned by the
Brand Marketing Manager.
Partner with the Brand Marketing Manager, Event Marketing Manager, and Director of Product Marketing to plan and deploy integrated campaigns — including email and nurture programs — that increase commercial velocity.
Build and manage segmented email nurture campaigns that move leads through the funnel, keeping messaging relevant to where each prospect is in their buying journey.
Write white papers, host webinars, and produce other thought leadership content — using AI tools to accelerate production where useful — that resonates with senior logistics technology buyers and drives measurable lead flow.
What Success Looks Like
In your first 6–12 months, you will have:
Lifecycle engine: Built and are running a repeatable lifecycle marketing engine — including active nurture and email programs — generating a predictable, growing volume of MQLs and opportunities each month.
Pipeline contribution: Personally sourced and qualified a meaningful share of sales opportunities through your own outbound prospecting.
CAC discipline: Established CAC tracking by channel and used it to shift spend toward what converts best with logistics technology buyers.
Digital & ABM impact: Built and optimized lower-funnel and ABM campaigns with measurable pipeline contribution from target accounts.
Content impact: Published thought-leadership content (white papers, webinars) with clear, attributable pipeline impact.
Qualifications
Required
6+ years in B2B marketing, demand generation, or growth marketing, ideally at a small or early-stage company.
Track record building and optimizing lead-gen and lifecycle programs — including email nurture campaigns — from strategy through execution.
Comfort and success doing hands-on outbound/prospecting work alongside strategic marketing work.
Experience measuring and optimizing against CAC or similar funnel metrics.
Strong analytical skills — comfortable pulling and interpreting campaign, funnel, and CAC data to drive decisions (Excel/Sheets required; SQL or BI tool experience a plus).
Strong writer — able to independently produce thought leadership content (white papers, webinars) and email copy.
Hands-on experience deploying AI tools in a marketing workflow, not just familiarity with them.
omfortable operating without a large team — self-directed, resourceful, willing to do unglamorous work.
Open-minded and collaborative team player with the willingness to help others.
Passionate about self-driving technologies, solving hard problems, and creating innovative solutions.
Bonus/nice to have
Experience marketing to senior technology decision makers in logistics, supply chain, or adjacent industrial/B2B sectors
Experience running account-based marketing (ABM) programs targeting named accounts
Experience partnering cross-functionally with product marketing, digital marketing, and events peers
Familiarity with a modern marketing/sales stack, particularly HubSpot and Aurasell (our CRM)
Experience at a company of similar size/stage
Prior SDR or sales development experience
