We are looking for a QA Engineer to test our software and make sure what we release works for real users. You will own the quality of what the engineering team ships: planning test cases, exploring features, and finding problems before our customers do.
What you will do
* Write and run test cases and test plans for new features and releases
* Run exploratory, regression, smoke and cross browser testing

* Test APIs and user interfaces, including edge cases and unhappy paths
* Find, document and track defects with clear steps to reproduce, and verify the fixes
* Work with engineers and product to clarify requirements and raise quality risks early
What we are looking for
* At least 3 years of experience in software testing, ideally on web or API focused products
* Ability to write clear test cases and bug reports
* Familiarity with a bug tracker such as Linear or Jira
* Comfort using browser developer tools to investigate issues
* Availability during Boston working hours
* Clear written communication in English
* Care for detail and a habit of asking why something broke
Nice to have
* Basic SQL for checking data
* Exposure to security testing concepts
* Experience working in a small, remote team

This role is fully remote. We work on Boston working hours, so you should be available during them.
