About Aotearoa Infinite Academy
Aotearoa Infinite Academy is New Zealand's first tuition-free online high school, pioneering accessible, world-class education for students in Years 9-13 across all of Aotearoa. The Opportunity
Teach engaging lessons through live virtual classrooms to Years 9-12 students, delivering Pre-IGCSE, IGCSE, and NCEA Levels 2-3 curriculum. Work fully remotely from anywhere in New Zealand while building a supportive, connected learning community.
What You'll Do
* Deliver inspiring live online lessons five days per week
* Design personalised learning experiences
* Build trust-based relationships with students in a virtual environment
* Collaborate with a high-calibre team of innovative educators
* Support student progress through differentiated instruction
* Provide meaningful formative assessment, with quality feedback, feed-forward, and summative assessment, aligned to curriculum goals
* Contribute positively to the functioning and growth of the curriculum team
* Develop genuine partnerships with, and report to parents and caregivers to support learning
What We're Looking For
Essential:
* NZ Teaching Registration
* Teaching qualification and subject expertise
* Strong knowledge of NCEA curriculum (Levels 2-3)
* Excellent communication skills and comfort with digital technology
Desirable:
* IGCSE teaching experience
* Online or blended learning experience
* Familiarity with educational technology
