As a part of Online Marketing, the Performance Marketing team does everything it can to increase traffic to our online marketplaces and convert it into sales. Advertising measures are performance-orientated and are optimised towards specific KPIs via data analysis.

Your tasks - this is what awaits you in detail

* You lead our Search team and empower its continuous growth through regular feedback, mentoring, and coaching. In doing so, you prioritize the team's key initiatives and define clear, individualized development paths for every team member
* You translate company targets and OKRs into scalable Text Ad strategies, connecting channel KPIs directly to overarching business outcomes
* You represent Search across core cross-functional stakeholders to align on investment planning, roadmaps, and growth initiatives
* You oversee our multi-storefront account landscape (leveraging tools like Search Ads 360), ensuring our account structures and budget allocation remain efficient, scalable, and responsive to market dynamics
* You partner with our Analysts and Data Science team to embed Search performance into broader incrementality and attribution frameworks, translating complex performance signals into clear strategic actions
* You drive the strategic evolution of the Search channel—steering bidding strategies, championing platform innovations (e.g., AI-driven campaign types), and setting best practices for integrating GenAI and automation into team workflows

Profil
Your profile - this is what we expect from you

* You successfully completed a technical, scientific or economics degree
* You have experience in leadership as well as dealing with complex Search Ads accounts in an e-commerce setting
* You are up-to-date with the relevant online marketing tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Tableau, BigQuery...) and PPC advertising tools (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Search Ads 360), as you use them regularly
* You understand what scripts and automation can do for SEA processes, and know how to translate that potential into concrete actions for your team
* You are GenAI savvy (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude) and bring your own use cases to the table
* You have an excellent grasp of mathematical, analytical and technical subjects, complemented by the structured, reliable and independent way that you get work done
* You are fluent in English (C1) and German language skills are a plus
