As an MES Consultant, you will collaborate closely with manufacturing clients to analyze business processes, configure MES solutions, and support system integration while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Business Analysis & Solution Design:
* Understand and assess client requirements to design and configure MES solutions tailored to their manufacturing processes.
* Recommend best practices to optimize MES usage and improve operational efficiency.
* System Implementation & Integration:
* Support end-to-end project activities, including system implementation, testing, validation, and go-live support.
* Configure MES solutions and integrate them with external systems such as ERP, SCADA, and IoT platforms.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, coordinating with internal teams and external partners as needed.
* Compliance & Continuous Improvement:
* Ensure MES implementations comply with industry regulations and company standards.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in driving digital transformation initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements:
* Education:
* Bachelors degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Experience & Skills:
* Minimum 3 years of experience as an MES Consultant or in an IT/manufacturing systems-related role.
* Proficiency in MES solution design, configuration, and ERP integration is an advantage.
* Strong analytical skills to assess business processes and recommend suitable MES solutions.
* Familiarity with manufacturing processes, particularly in regulated industries (e.g., pharmaceuticals, automotive, electronics, or food production), is a plus.
* Languages & Communication:
* Fluency in Japanese and English (both oral and written) is required.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work in fast-paced project environments, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Soft Skills:
* Self-motivated and capable of working independently while being an effective team player.
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
