Security Engineer: Tanium

Responsibilities
* Deploy, configure, administer, and maintain the Tanium platform across enterprise environments.

* Implement and optimize Tanium modules, including Asset, Discover, Comply, Patch, Deploy, Interact, and Threat Response.

* Manage endpoint visibility, asset discovery, vulnerability assessments, and remediation activities.

* Configure and maintain automated patch management and software deployment processes.

* Monitor endpoint health, identify security gaps, and recommend remediation strategies.

* Develop and maintain Tanium queries, dashboards, reports, and operational workflows.

* Support endpoint security investigations and incident response activities using Tanium Threat Response.

* Integrate Tanium with enterprise security platforms, including SIEM, EDR, ITSM, and vulnerability management solutions.

* Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, or similar technologies to improve endpoint management processes.

* Troubleshoot Tanium platform performance, connectivity, agent deployment, and configuration issues.

Requirements
* 3+ years of experience in endpoint engineering, security engineering, systems administration, or a related technical role.

* Hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and administering the Tanium platform.

* Experience with Tanium modules such as Patch, Comply, Asset, Discover, Deploy, or Threat Response.

* Strong understanding of enterprise endpoint management and vulnerability remediation.

* Experience managing Windows and Linux operating systems in large enterprise environments.

* Knowledge of patch management, asset inventory, endpoint security, and software deployment practices.

* Experience with PowerShell, Python, or other scripting and automation technologies.
