GTM Engineer

Your Role

You’ll be fonio’s GTM Engineer, based in Vienna. The goal is to put fonio in front of thousands of the right prospects every month—at high volume, high deliverability, and with copy that actually converts.

You own the outbound engine end-to-end. You build and scale the infrastructure, run the data and list-building strategy, and set the direction for our growth stack and CRM.

What You’ll Do

* Own outbound strategy and execution end-to-end, turning data into a predictable, high-converting pipeline.

* Build and scale high-volume sending infrastructure safely to 6–7 figures per month.

* Ensure 99%+ deliverability across all sending domains, inboxes, and email providers.

* Write, test, and iterate on copy that sounds like a human wrote it, not an AI template.

* Run continuous A/B tests across subject lines, copy angles, targeting, and landing pages to optimize conversion rates.

* Manage and optimize our modern MarTech and CRM stack.

Must-Haves

* Deep deliverability expertise: You know domains, inbox setup, automated warmup, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, bounce hygiene, and how to consistently avoid the spam folder.

* High-volume scale experience: You’ve personally managed dozens or hundreds of secondary domains and mailboxes across platforms like Smartlead or Instantly.

* List building & data fluency: You know where and how to pull clean prospect data, enrich it, and segment it tightly.

* Strong conversion copywriting: You write punchy, persuasive cold outreach that gets replies, not eye-rolls.

* Analytical mindset: You make decisions based on pipeline, open rates, positive reply rates, and conversion metrics—not gut feelings.

* Languages: Native-level German and fluent English.

Nice-to-Haves

* Experience with modern data enrichment and workflow automation tools (e.g., Clay, Make, n8n, Apollo).

* Hands-on CRM management experience (HubSpot or Salesforce).

* Prior background in high-growth B2B SaaS outbound environments.

* Basic scraping or scripting skills (Python, APIs) to pull custom lead lists.
