We are looking for a Power BI Developer to join us on an 8-month contractual engagement and support an enterprise-level migration from Domo to Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Power BI.

You will work closely with our Business Intelligence team to analyze existing Domo solutions and migrate or redesign dashboards, datasets, calculations, semantic models, and data transformations using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on BI development and wants exposure to a significant platform migration project within a global organization.

What You’ll Do

* Migrate and redesign Domo dashboards, reports, datasets, and business logic in Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
* Build scalable and reusable Power BI semantic models using dimensional and star-schema modeling.
* Develop calculations, measures, and time-intelligence logic using DAX.
* Create and maintain data transformations using Power Query/M.
* Work with Microsoft Fabric capabilities including OneLake, Lakehouse/Warehouse, Dataflows, pipelines, and semantic models.
* Optimize Power BI models, DAX, refresh processes, and reports for performance.
* Implement data relationships, security, and Row-Level Security (RLS).
* Validate migrated reports against existing Domo solutions to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
* Troubleshoot data, calculation, model, refresh, and reporting issues.
* Identify opportunities to simplify and improve existing BI solutions during the migration.
* Collaborate with BI team members and relevant stakeholders throughout the migration.
* Document technical designs, business logic, data lineage, and migration decisions.

What We’re Looking For

* 2–3 years of relevant experience in Power BI development, Business Intelligence, data analytics, or a related area.
* Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
* Good understanding of Microsoft Fabric and its core capabilities.
* Strong proficiency in DAX, including filter context, time intelligence, and performance optimization.
* Strong SQL and Power Query/M skills.
* Solid understanding of dimensional modeling, star schemas, fact/dimension design, and semantic models.
* Understanding of ETL/ELT, data integration, refresh processes, and data validation.
* Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to work independently and translate existing business logic into effective Power BI solutions.
* Good communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have

* Previous BI platform migration experience.
* Experience with Domo, including Cards, Beast Mode, Magic ETL, and datasets.
* Experience with enterprise-level Power BI or Microsoft Fabric solutions.
* Understanding of Medallion architecture.
* Experience working with global or distributed teams.

Important Note

This position is being offered on a contractual basis for a fixed period of 8 months.

Why Join BARE International?

You’ll have the opportunity to work on a meaningful BI modernization initiative, gain hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, and collaborate with a global team while helping shape a more scalable and efficient BI environment.
