Our work spans classification and compensation, organizational and operational studies, research and program evaluation, economic and workforce analysis, surveys and community research, and applied data and infrastructure research.
We engage experienced practitioners as project-based collaborators. Engagements are remote-first with occasional client travel. AlphaGov is engaging an EV Charging Infrastructure Planner for current county work. A county is commissioning an electric vehicle charging infrastructure study.
We confirm scope, schedule, and fee with you before any engagement begins.
What you'll do
- Assess EV adoption, charging demand, and gaps
- Site and prioritize public charging locations
- Analyze grid capacity, costs, ownership models, and funding (NEVI, CFI, NYSERDA)
- Produce an implementation plan
- Contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when you authorize naming

Requirements
Required
- At least 5 years of professional experience in EV charging planning or transportation electrification
- Experience with charging siting and demand modeling
- Comfortable as a 1099 project-based consultant
