Position: Senior E-commerce / Shopify Specialist
Number of hours: 20 hours/Week
Schedule: Australian Time Zone
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and optimize Shopify e-commerce stores, including products, collections, pricing, inventory, and website content.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve online sales, conversion rates, and store performance.
* Customize and maintain Shopify themes, apps, and integrations.

* Monitor website performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure a smooth customer shopping experience.
* Manage product listings, descriptions, images, SEO, and merchandising.
* Analyze sales, traffic, conversion, and customer data to identify opportunities for growth.
* Coordinate with marketing, design, customer service, and other teams to support e-commerce initiatives.
* Implement and optimize Shopify features, third-party apps, payment gateways, and e-commerce tools.
* Stay updated on Shopify updates, e-commerce trends, and industry best practices.
* Lead or support e-commerce projects, process improvements, and store migrations when needed.
* Mentor junior e-commerce team members and provide technical guidance when required.
Qualifications
* 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Shopify or other e-commerce platforms.
* Strong knowledge of Shopify Admin, Shopify themes, apps, integrations, and store configuration.
* Experience with Shopify Plus is an advantage.
* Solid understanding of e-commerce operations, conversion rate optimization (CRO), SEO, and online merchandising.
* Experience with Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, or similar analytics tools.
* Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, Liquid, and JavaScript is highly preferred.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
* Experience in project leadership or mentoring team members is an advantage.
* Strong understanding of current e-commerce trends and best practices.
* A Bachelor’s degree in E-Commerce, Marketing, Information Technology, Business, or a related field is preferred.
