Asset Lead

Key skills

* Proven experience as an Asset Lead in a VFX production environment, with 6+ years overseeing the creation of hero assets, environments, and props across Modeling, Texturing, Surfacing, and Look Development.
* Strong proficiency in industry-standard tools including Maya, Houdini, ZBrush, Substance Painter, Mari, and Photoshop, with a good understanding of Arnold renderer.
* Solid understanding of asset creation pipelines, including clean topology, UV workflows, optimized geometry, and downstream dependencies across Lighting, FX, Groom, and Rigging.
* Demonstrated leadership and communication skills to mentor artists, conduct reviews, manage task priorities, and deliver consistently high-quality assets across multiple productions.
* Ability to identify and resolve technical and pipeline challenges in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
* Familiarity with Linux-based environments; basic scripting knowledge is a plus.
