A leading financial services firm based in Irving, Texas, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Tax Manager to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and review various tax returns, including 1065, 1040, 1120S, 990, 1041, etc.
* Manage the tax process from cradle to grave, with hands-on involvement.
* Oversee and eventually run the tax department, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
* Coach and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
Qualifications:
* EA or CPA certification required.
* 4-7 years of public accounting experience.
* Proven experience in tax return preparation and review.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* US citizens, permanent residents, and visa holders are welcome to apply.
Additional Information:
* Hybrid work environment with flexibility for fully remote work for out-of-area candidates.
* Travel arrangements will be made for ideal out-of-state candidates to meet the team in person.
