Job Description
Role: Oracle My SQL Database Architect
Duration: Long Term
Location: Remote- USA
Job Summary:
Looking for a hands-on Oracle MySQL Database Architect with strong experience in database architecture, performance tuning, high availability, and production database environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement scalable MySQL database architectures.
* Provide hands-on expertise in MySQL installation, configuration, upgrades, and migrations.

* Perform database performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting.
* Design and manage HA, replication, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
* Work with development and infrastructure teams on database design and best practices.
* Monitor database health, capacity, security, and availability.
* Troubleshoot complex production database issues.
Required Skills:
* 8+ years of experience with MySQL Database Administration/Architecture.
* Strong hands-on experience with MySQL, SQL, indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning.
* Experience with MySQL Replication, InnoDB, HA/DR, backup & recovery.
* Experience with database migration and upgrade projects.
* Strong understanding of Linux/Unix environments.
* Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure is a plus.
* Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
