The Opportunity
We are looking for a Founding Backend / Platform Engineer to build the technical backbone of NumeriQu.
This is an early, high-ownership role. You will work directly with the founder to translate business problems into scalable backend systems. Over time, this role is expected to grow into a Tech Lead / CTO role as the company scales.
This role is best suited for someone who wants to build from scratch, learn fast, and take real ownership.
What You’ll Work On
* Designing and building the core backend architecture
* Integrating with multiple data sources (APIs, files, databases)
* Designing databases and data models for analytics
* Building reliable data pipelines
* Making early decisions around scalability, performance, and security
* Exploring AI/ML capabilities where they create real value
Who Should Apply

You do not need to have held a “CTO” title before.
What We’re Looking For
* Strong backend development experience (any modern stack)
* Solid understanding of APIs, databases, and integrations
* Experience working with data-heavy systems
* Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
* Interest in AI/ML (hands-on experience is a plus, not mandatory)
