for a Field Service Technician
Travel Monday-Friday

Join our dynamic team as an electromechanical Field Service Technician where you will utilize your customer communication skills and mechanical/electrical expertise to tackle complex technical challenges. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, modify, and test tools while traveling within the US. Responsibilities:
* Travel to customer sites to diagnose complex technical problems, perform on-site repairs, and conduct preventative maintenance
* Perform disassembly and reassembly of tools as necessary
* Troubleshoot technical issues via telephone
* Maintain professional communication with customers
* Interpret schematics and block diagrams to analyze problems
* Document product issues and resolutions in detail
Qualifications:
* Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems (servo motors, bearings, gearing, ball screws, and various way-moving systems)
* Proficiency in mechanical measurement and inspection techniques including the use of indicators, micrometers, and calipers
* Experience with electrical measurement and calibration techniques (voltmeter, oscilloscope, etc.)
* Working knowledge of fastening and assembly processes
* Proficiency in using basic hand tools
* Familiarity with Windows operating systems
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
Not Required But Our Ideal Candidate Would Have:
* Associates or technical in a technical field
* Background in field service
* General understanding of PLCs and pneumatics
