Remote Recruitment is hiring a Customer Service Agent for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa. You will own customer queries from first contact to resolution.
Role overview
You will be the friendly voice of a UK business, helping customers by email, chat and phone and solving problems the first time. This is a full-time, 100% remote role for South African talent, working UK hours: 09:00-17:00 UK time (11:00-19:00 SAST).

Key responsibilities
* Answer customer queries by email, chat and phone
* Log and track cases in the helpdesk system
* Resolve issues or escalate with clear notes
* Process orders, returns and account changes
* Share feedback that helps improve the service
What you'll need
* Experience in customer service or support
* Clear, friendly written and spoken English
* Experience with a helpdesk tool such as Zendesk or Freshdesk
* Calm approach when handling complaints
* Able to work 09:00-17:00 UK time (11:00-19:00 SAST)
Nice to have
* Experience with live chat tools
* Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify
* Previous work with UK customers
