Position: Junior Accountant
Number of hours: 40 hours/week
Schedule: UK Timezone
Tasks required:
* Perform multi-currency consolidation of financial statements across entities and jurisdictions.
* Manage and maintain accounting data within Xero or similar financial systems.
* Support or integrate with legacy accounting and case management tools (Proclaim experience is a plus).
* Prepare, review, and reconcile monthly financial reports and supporting schedules.

* Assisting with tax compliance and reporting for UK, US, and Cayman Islands entities is a plus.
* Support audits and ensure adherence to local and international accounting standards.
* Identify opportunities to automate or streamline accounting processes and system workflows.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, legal, operations) to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* 2–4 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or systems accounting.
* Hands-on experience with Xero or similar cloud accounting tools.
* Understanding of multi-currency consolidation and intercompany transactions.
* Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting automation or integration tools.
* Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple reviews or analyses simultaneously.
* Familiarity with UK, US, and Cayman Islands tax rules and compliance requirements.
* Experience with Proclaim or other legacy financial/case management systems is a PLUS.
