Remote Recruitment is hiring a Finance Administrator for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa.
Role overview
Remote Recruitment places South African talent with UK employers, and this is a full-time, 100% remote position working UK business hours. In this role, you will own the day-to-day finance admin that keeps a UK team's books accurate. You will join a friendly team, work with clear processes, and have the support you need to do your best work from home.

Key responsibilities
* Process supplier invoices and match them to purchase orders
* Prepare payment runs for approval
* Reconcile bank statements to the ledger each week
* Maintain tidy finance records and filing
* Answer routine supplier and staff finance queries
What you'll need
* Experience in finance or bookkeeping administration, with examples of accurate month-end support
* Familiarity with Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
* Strong Excel skills including lookups and pivot tables
* A reliable laptop, stable fibre internet and a quiet workspace
* Availability for 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST)
Nice to have
* Experience with Dext or Hubdoc
* Familiarity with UK VAT
* Experience supporting month-end close
