About the Role
AllTrails is looking for a Production Design Contractor to support a defined engagement focused on scaling the production of on-brand marketing assets across paid digital, lifecycle, in-app, OOH, events, and related channels.
The contractor will adapt and localize approved creative, build and maintain production-ready Figma templates and asset libraries, and help improve the workflows used to deliver high-volume creative. This work will be completed in partnership with Brand Creative, Creative Operations, and marketing stakeholders within an agreed scope, timeline, and set of deliverables.
This is a fully remote, contract position with an expectation for 30 hours per week for 3 months with the option to extend.

What you'll be doing
Adapt, version, and localize approved creative for paid social, display, lifecycle/email, in-app, app store, OOH, events, and print

Build and maintain a Figma template and asset library using components, variants, auto layout, variables, and modes where appropriate

Create modular paid-ad variations and other production assets from approved creative direction and brand systems

Produce defined quick-turn requests, including seasonal promotions, sponsored lists, in-app events, monthly challenges, and partnership assets

Maintain clean file organization, naming conventions, version control, and handoff documentation

Apply brand and visual-quality standards across asset sets, including layout, typography, hierarchy, and pixel-level consistency

Identify opportunities to improve production workflows through automation, AI-enabled tools, scripting, and creative technology

Coordinate with Brand Creative, Creative Operations, and marketing partners on intake, priorities, feedback, and delivery timelines

What you bring
4+ years of experience in design production, brand design, or creative operations, ideally supporting a global brand

A portfolio demonstrating high-volume, on-brand creative production, including versioning, localization, and template or system work

Advanced Figma skills, including components, variants, auto layout, variables, and modes, with experience building systems others can use

Experience using automation, scripting, AI-enabled tools, or other technologies to improve creative production workflows

Familiarity with creative automation tools such as Celtra, Figma Buzz, or Canva

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop; experience with After Effects or Premiere for lightweight motion or video finishing is helpful

Experience managing asset libraries, localization workflows, and production processes for multiple markets or channels

Exceptional attention to detail and strong command of layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and brand consistency

Ability to work independently from a defined or lightweight brief, make sound production decisions, and escalate conceptual questions when needed

Strong organization, communication, and time-management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple deliverables and incorporate feedback
