Profile/Role: SAP Functional Specialist
Competence (consulting experience from the desired role and competence):
Experience: 6+yrs
Location: Bangalore
Level: Associate/Mid/Expert Level
Job description:
Key Responsibilities:
* Own end-to-end SAP batch job scheduling, execution, monitoring, and support.
* Optimize job scheduling and execution patterns to improve performance and resource utilization.
* Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual effort and increase operational efficiency.
* Ensure high availability, stability, and timely completion of batch processes.
* Troubleshoot job failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
* Manage workload balancing, job dependencies, and recovery procedures.
* Collaborate with SAP Basis, application, and infrastructure teams to support operational excellence.
* Maintain operational documentation, compliance standards, and performance reporting.
Required Skills:
* Strong experience in SAP batch processing, job scheduling, and monitoring.
* Knowledge of SAP Basis and system performance concepts.
* Experience with enterprise scheduling tools such as Redwood, Control-M, or Automic.
* Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and automation skills.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

* Own end-to-end SAP batch job scheduling, execution, and monitoring
* Drive optimisation of job scheduling and execution patterns to improve system performance and cost efficiency
* Identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and workload balancing
* Ensure high availability and stability of batch processes, including failure handling and recovery.
