Role Description
We are seeking a professional English Samoan Translator for a freelance project in the healthcare sector. The translator will be responsible for accurately translating healthcare and clinical trial documents, ensuring linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and adherence to industry-specific terminology.
Project Details:
* Language Pair: English Samoan
* Field: Healthcare and Clinical Trials
* Tools: Client-provided SDL Trados packages
Responsibilities:
* Translate healthcare and clinical trials documents from English into Samoan with high accuracy.
* Ensure use of correct medical and clinical terminology in line with industry standards.
* Work with client-provided Trados packages and follow project-specific guidelines.
* Maintain confidentiality of sensitive medical content.
* Deliver translations within the agreed deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications:
* Native-level fluency in Samoan and excellent command of English.
* Proven experience in medical/healthcare/clinical trial translation.
* Proficiency in SDL Trados Studio (mandatory).
* Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills.
