Tasks required:
* Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for projects
* Perform measurements and quantity take-offs using drawings and specifications
* Assist in preparing initial estimates for project certificates
* Develop cost breakdowns and pricing schedules
* Coordinate closely with the lead estimator/manager
* Ensure all estimates are completed in metric measurements (non-negotiable)
* Maintain organized documentation of estimates and revisions

Requirements:
* Minimum 8–10 years of experience in construction estimating
* Strong background in:
* Prestige residential projects
* Custom-built homes
* Small to medium commercial projects
* Industrial sheds
* Apartments and townhouses
* Retail developments
* Experience in custom/prestige builds (not project home estimating)
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Approximately 10 years of industry experience
* Self-starting and highly independent
* Requires minimal supervision
* Produces work at a level that only requires review and refinement
* Strong sense of accountability and ownership
* Comfortable working behind the scenes in a support capacity
