Position: Copywriter
Number of hours: 10 hours/week
Schedule: PST
Tasks required:
* Create and edit original copy that is accurate, well-researched, and meets client/company needs and deadlines
* Meet with client to understand their message, brand voice and target audience
* Conduct research to formulate ideas or support writing
* Propose copy concepts in a comprehensible and engaging way
* Produce copies for marketing materials, social media posts, and paid advertisements

* Drive brand consistency across all company communications
* Stay current on trends and competitors within the editorial sphere
* See projects through the whole creative lifestyle, from inception to deployment
* Assist in other aspects of the creative or research processes to create cohesive, accurate content
* Work with clients to edit and modify copy to meet their content expectations
* Other ad hoc tasks to be assigned
Requirements:
* Proven work experience as a Copywriter or relevant experience
* Bachelors degree in English, communications, or a related field is highly preferred
* Proven success in producing copy for advertising or marketing campaigns with a portfolio of work over a wide range of projects
* Exceptional skill in social media writing, including use of hashtags and relevant acronyms
* Broad knowledge of suitable copies for different scenarios and across different niches/industries
* Experience producing copy for print and digital media channels
* Strong communication, research, and typing skills
* Creativity, resourcefulness, flexibility, and motivation
* Ability to understand the needs associated with a project and the target audience
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Documents
* Experience with SEO concepts and social media marketing
* Creativity, adaptability and the ability to work collaboratively with a team
* Willingness to meet deadlines
* Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment and learn rapidly
