Job description

From Hyphen’s job post, as they wrote it.

We're looking for a senior product designer who has already moved beyond using AI as a shortcut - and is actively building it into their daily workflow.

The right person can turn a vague problem into a working prototype fast, communicates well with engineers, and is genuinely comfortable in complex, enterprise-scale environments.

Responsibilities

* Own design end-to-end - from problem framing to high-fidelity prototypes and developer handoff

Read the full description

* Work autonomously in a fast-moving environment with minimal direction

* Rapidly translate vague briefs into structured approaches and testable outputs

* Build and iterate AI-assisted design workflows to accelerate delivery

* Create prototypes that feel near-functional - not just wireframes

* Collaborate closely with developers, thinking in systems and components

* Present design decisions clearly and confidently to senior stakeholders

* Contribute across multiple workstreams simultaneously

Requirements

* Senior-level UX/Product Design experience across complex digital products

* Hands-on use of AI tools in your daily design work - not occasional, habitual

* Proficiency with Figma, including MCP integration and Figma Make

* Comfortable working with Claude, Copilot, or equivalent AI agents in a design context

* Experience with enterprise or B2B products - complex systems, not just consumer apps

* Strong storytelling and presentation skills; able to defend decisions under pressure

* Technical fluency - you don't need to code, but you need to think like someone who does

* Background across multiple sectors and product types

* Awareness of accessibility standards and enterprise compliance requirements

* Available to commute to Lisbon for a hybrid setup (2 days/week on-site)

* Preferably available to start within 30 days
