About the Role
Design, conduct, and report on geochemical and water quality studies; Manage large datasets; Develop geochemical source terms for water quality models; Conduct fieldwork at remote sites; Provide technical input to projects within your area(s) of expertise; Technical communications, including report writing and reviewing; Develop and coordinate project specific work plans and assist in proposal development; Interface with other technical experts to achieve multidisciplinary project goals; Interact and liaise with clients, government regulators, and other project stakeholders; Manage special projects that support the broad-based needs of a rapidly expanding company; Mentors junior staff; and All other related duties as required.
About You
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a related science (geology, chemistry, environmental science, or engineering).
Experience
5+ years of relevant experience in mining, mineral exploration, or environmental consulting; P.Geo. or P.Eng. accreditation or eligibility is an asset; ARD/ML and geochemical characterization experience is an asset; Familiarity with geochemical modelling (e.g., PHREEQC) is an asset; Experience using Leapfrog Geo, ArcGIS, and/or QGIS is an asset; Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite; and Excellent written and oral communication.
