Key Responsibilities
* Develop, maintain, and optimize WordPress websites.
* Build custom WordPress themes and plugins based on business requirements.
* Convert Figma, Adobe XD, or PSD designs into responsive WordPress websites.
* Customize existing themes while following WordPress coding standards.
* Ensure websites are mobile-friendly, SEO-friendly, secure, and optimized for speed.
* Integrate third-party APIs, CRMs, payment gateways, and marketing tools.
* Troubleshoot website issues, bugs, and performance problems.
* Implement website security best practices and perform regular updates.
* Optimize Core Web Vitals and improve overall website performance.
* Collaborate with designers, marketers, and project managers to deliver projects on time.
* Manage website backups, migrations, staging environments, and deployments.
* Maintain website documentation and version control.
Required Qualifications
* 3+ years of professional experience in WordPress development.
* Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
* Experience developing custom WordPress themes and plugins.
* Strong understanding of WordPress hooks, filters, REST API, and Gutenberg.
* Experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), Custom Post Types (CPT), and custom taxonomies.
* Experience with Elementor, WPBakery, or other page builders.
* Knowledge of WooCommerce customization.
* Familiarity with Git version control.
* Experience with website performance optimization and caching.
* Understanding of website security and WordPress best practices.
* Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
