🎯 Mission & Core Purpose
As a Senior System Engineer, you will design, manage, and optimize the infrastructure that keeps more than 30,000 e-commerce businesses running. You will ensure the performance, security, and continuity of our critical systems, and help modernize our IT infrastructure through automation and DevOps practices.
💼 Key Responsibilities
* Design, manage, and optimize system infrastructure across servers, storage, networks, and security components.
* Monitor and optimize the performance of on-premises environments, and develop backup and upgrade strategies.
* Resolve issues in production environments and provide 24/7 support for critical systems.
* Configure and manage essential system services such as DNS, DHCP, file servers, and certificate management.
* Use tools such as SCCM, SCOM, ManageEngine, and Zabbix for system monitoring and upgrades.
* Deploy and manage endpoint security solutions such as antivirus and anti-spam tools.
* Develop automation scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to simplify system management and reduce manual work.
* Work with teams to design and implement modern IT solutions aligned with industry best practices.
* Contribute to DevOps practices, including containerized environments and Linux systems.
* Maintain up-to-date documentation of configurations, procedures, and automation workflows in line with company policies and industry standards.
💡 Experience & Skills
* At least 6 years of professional experience in system administration.
* Advanced knowledge of Linux systems, preferably Debian or Ubuntu.
* Familiarity with DevOps practices and container technologies.
* Hands-on experience with monitoring platforms such as Zabbix.
* Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or similar.
* Strong analytical thinking and the ability to resolve complex issues in critical production environments.
* Good level of English.
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
👤 Your Profile
* Knowledge of Windows Server (2019/2022).
* Experience modernizing IT systems and implementing scalable solutions.
* Basic knowledge of disaster recovery processes and capacity planning.
* Curious, open to learning, and enthusiastic about growth.
🌐 Location
This role is hybrid. You will be expected to work from our office in Kozyatağı Ataşehir - Allianz Tower three days per week and remotely two days per week.
