Job Summary
You will join the Core Platform team moving our client's backend services from its CMS vendor into AP-owned systems, starting with authentication. With two senior engineers, you will build and maintain services and APIs in an AI-first workflow.
Responsibilities
* Build and maintain backend services and APIs in Java and Golang
* Support the migration of services away from the CMS vendor, including authentication
* Deploy and operate services on Google Cloud and AWS
* Write tests and keep CI/CD pipelines healthy
* Take part in code reviews, planning and on-call or support rotations as agreed
* Work AI-first with the enterprise AI tools AP provides
Qualifications and Job Requirements
* 3+ years of backend engineering
* Java or Golang in production, and willingness to work in both
* Hands-on with Google Cloud or AWS managed services
* Building and consuming REST APIs
* SQL and NoSQL databases
* Unit and integration testing, CI/CD
* Daily use of AI coding assistants
* Fluent English
